Where Can I Go

Oh Lord you've searched me and known my heart
You have discerned my every thought from afar
Even before a word is on my tongue
Behold you know it altogether

You go before me and cover my steps
You place your hand of blessing on my head
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me
It overwhelms me altogether

Where can I go now from your Spirit?
Your presence I cannot escape
If I ascend to the heavens or my make my bed in the depths
I am guided by the hand of grace

I could ask the darkness be my cover
Even in the shadows I can't hide from You
For you saw me in my mother's womb
And formed each moment of my life together
